Ricardo Vollbrechthausen Studios, LLC (“RVS”, “Us”, “We”) is a private wealth management company based in Miami, Florida. Our firm takes a holistic approach to investing, trading, and operating across numerous asset classes and industries. Through careful analysis and portfolio management, we hope to generate risk appropriate returns in each of our funds and ventures.

Studios and Departments
Ricardo Vollbrechthausen Studios is organized as a matrix of Studios and Departments. Studios are our main revenue generating centers, each of which are focused on individual business lines, such as Equity trading or Woodworking. In contrast, our Departments are inward facing expense generating center which provide administrative and operational functions for RVS – such as Human resources or Accounting. Finally, our retail outlets serve as our direct point of sale for goods and services available to the general public.
Trading and Investing Studios
Our Trading and Investing Studios (“TISs”) are focused on proprietary trading of their respectively named asset classes.
- TIS General Studio – Our TIS General Studio provides overarching risk management, asset allocation guidance, and investing strategies to each of our subsidiary T&I studios, as well as general supervision of the portfolios within each.
- Equity Studio – Public Equity Trading and Investing, Private Equity Investing
- Credit Studio – Sovereign and Corporate Credit Trading, Private Credit and Lending
- Currencies Studio – Foreign Exchange, Crypto, and Precious Metals Trading
- Commodities Studio – Commodities Trading
- Real Estate Studio – REITS Trading
Goods and Services Studios
Our Goods and Services Studios (“GSSs”) are in-house wholly owned and operated RVS business ventures that produce and sell goods and services via various outlets.
- Education Services Studio – Our Educational Services studio publishes educational content about Finance, Capitalism, and Economics through our digital library. We hope our articles will empower our subscribers with the tools, skills, and ideas they need to pursue their financial interests more efficiently and effectively.
- Aquaculture Studio – Our Aquaculture studio selectively breeds and sells a range of ornamental fish, shrimp, snails, and aquatic plants for the aquarium hobby. We primarily sell our livestock and plants wholesale through third party distributors and local fish stores.
- Woodworking Studio – Our woodworking studio creates a range of wood based products. Our work is sold wholesale to other businesses, and in some cases directly to consumers via our online store. Our studio capabilities include laser engraving, CNC machining, access to a broad range of rare and exotic wood species, art and design services, and wide range of customization.

Our company departments provide our firm with the services we need to run efficiently and effectively, including:

Retail Outlets
Where applicable, RVS offers goods and services directly to consumers. Currently, we only do so through our website in two ventures:
- Digital Library – All content from our Educational Services Studio is made available to subscribers via our digital library.
- Online Store – Small and easy to ship goods from our Woodworking Studio are available through our online store.
About Ricardo Vollbrechthausen
Ricardo is Founder and President of Ricardo Vollbrechthausen Studios, LLC.
He studied Neuroscience and Financial Economics at Columbia University in New York City. After graduating, he worked as an analyst for Goldman Sachs on their structured credit trading desk in London. He then went on to start a series of ventures, consolidated under Ricardo Vollbrechthausen Studios, LLC.
Outside of work, Ricardo’s hobbies include tennis, gardening, and learning new languages. Winning the Nobel Prize in Economics for the advancement of financial literacy education remains an elusive aspiration.
“Vollbrechthausen” Pronunciation
“Vollbrechthausen” can be difficult to pronounce if you aren’t familiar with German. Here are some quick tips on how to say it correctly;
“Vollbrechthausen” is made up of two elements: “Vollbrecht” and “-hausen”.
1) “Vollbrecht” is an old German name, similar to Albrecht, Ruprecht, or Adalbrecht. The V is pronounced like an F (ie. ~Follbrecht), and the Ch is soft, like the Ch in the classical music composer’s name “Bach”. (it is not a hard “ch” as in “chart”, a “k” sound as in “ache”, or an “sh” sound as in “chef”).
2) “-hausen” is a place name ending, similar to “-shire” in Hampshire, or “-ham” in Nottingham. It is pronounced like the English word “house” with an “-n” at the end.
When you combine the two elements, the last name can be loosely translated as “Vollbrecht’s Manor” or “Vollbrecht’s Estate”.
